The mission of this foundation is to raise funds for an annual swimming scholarship (Firestone High School) as well as funding the American Heart Association to help with research on sudden cardiac arrests. The Barefoot Classic got its name because Adam Grigas loved to play golf barefoot. He was often seen strutting around the course barefoot with a smile.
